Night Florist
This urban fantasy animated show features Lenora, a 200 year old vampire. She is on the run from a dark past, and finds herself seeking refuge at 24 Hour Flower which is owned and operated by the ancient fairy Brighid.
Lenora: a (relatively) young vampire with a dark past
Brighid: an ancient fae with a warped sense of fashion
Boris: a smaller than average cyclops just trying his best
The client also requested three portraits in the style of photographs that may have been taken of each character, as well as an interior and exterior of the flower shop.
A photo taken in the the mid 1800's. Part of Brighid's character is that due to his age he wears clothes from many different eras, so I combined elements of 15th, 16th, and 17th century fashions here to emphasize that.
Taken late 1800's/early 1900's. Lenora is a bit of the dark and brooding type, so I modeled her dress here after a mourning dress.
To further emphasize the mix of modern and old, I did bright lights and convenience store windows mixed with obviously old plants and an older looking brick exterior for the second floor.
